Three in One

Generally, the Philippine archipelago has a total of 7,107 islands. The entire group of islands is divided into 3 groups: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Since my partner and I live in the Visayas region, we started getting to know our very own place first. To start, we visited Olango group of islands that is composed of 6 islets, namely: Sulpa, Gilutongan, Nalusuan, Caohagan, Pangan-an, and Camungi. Olango island and its neighboring islets are known for its wildlife santuaries.

Boarding...

From Cebu City, we hired a jeepney to take us to the pier near Movenpick Hotel, previously known as Hilton Hotel. When we got there, we then boarded the boat for our island hopping adventure. First stop was in Sulpa, where we grilled the fishes that we bought from the city. Second was in Gilutongan, where we had our lunch then we had sightseeing to the restaurant in the island that has a fish sanctuary. Lastly, Olango island, where we stayed longer because our next trip is back to the pier.

Though the weather did not cooperate with our activity due to the fact that it was raining so hard, we still adored the trip. Even to the last minutes before we reached the pier, we enjoyed the waves, for we were like in a roller coaster ride then. We are looking forward to complete the entire Olango Island Group. Though we only visited 3 islets, the trip was worthwhile especially with the camaraderie that we have with our friends. Indeed, we had fun in the 3 islets in just 1 trip.
