Philippine history has been molded by the major influence of the Spaniards. The Spanish-Mexican regime in our country lasted for centuries that apparently resulted in substantial amount of power, which affected the Filipino culture. It has been known also that the Filipino culture has foreign influences however the strongest power emanated from the Hispanic culture. Spanish influence is basically evident in adobo that is a Spanish term for seasoning or marinade. In the modern times, people would consequently visit Mexican restaurants, which would offer both authentic and modified Mexican specialties, because some of their dishes turned out to be recipes to families and friends from generation to generation.

Personally, I love Mexican food and I have Mooon Cafe to thank. It is a benefit that my partner and I live somewhere wherein one of their branches is just minutes away from us. We are typical Filipinos but their Mexican food leaves a mark in our taste buds. Aside from the fact that their food is heavenly, their place is as romantic as ever, which complimented the overall experience. We are again looking forward for another dining moment under the Mooon Cafe.
